All of EnergyCare’s services are provided free to our clients.
We serve low-income seniors and homebound disabled or chronically ill people most at risk from exposure to extremes of temperature. To qualify for most of EnergyCare’s services you must live in St. Louis (city or county) and be over the age of 60, disabled, have a chronic health condition, or have a child under 5 in the home.
Utility assistance funding varies and is available on a first come, first serve basis. Utility funding that is grant based may have other qualifications required, the fastest way to see if you are eligible is to fill out the form below or call the office at (314) 773-5900.
Services available:
EnergyCare offices are open Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:00 pm, except for holidays. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Volunteers can help with weatherization of our client homes, preparation of Weatherization kits and direct mailer and lead Weatherization groups.
We install home weatherization materials, setup portable heaters and electric blankets, or simply give out standard blankets for immediate warmth. For the heat we install window air conditioners.
