Thanks to generous support from Ascension Charitable Fund, EnergyCare is able to continue to provide services in a way that maintains the dignity of our clients.
This funding supported the primary goal of EnergyCare’s Summer Program –to reduce the risk of heat related illness or death for households within the target population. While EnergyCare’s Summer Cooling Program serves individuals in several high risk categories, funds from the Ascension Charitable Fund Committee were used specifically to provide air conditioners to 100 seniors in the St. Louis who are currently without air conditioning. With your support EnergyCare installed more than 200 A/C unites over the summer.

Volunteers can help with weatherization of our client homes, preparation of Weatherization kits and direct mailer and lead Weatherization groups.
We install home weatherization materials, setup portable heaters and electric blankets, or simply give out standard blankets for immediate warmth. For the heat we install window air conditioners.
